Dr Sakib Rahman

Dr Sakib Rahman is an experienced adult psychiatrist with a broad background across multiple areas of general and specialist mental health care. He is a member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists and is fully registered with the General Medical Council. Dr Rahman has worked across the full spectrum of adult mental health services, including inpatient psychiatry, liaison psychiatry, Community Mental Health Teams, community drugs and alcohol services, and forensic settings. This breadth of experience enables him to deliver balanced, evidence-based assessment and treatment for a wide range of mental health conditions. He is particularly committed to understanding how mental health difficulties affect daily life, relationships, and personal functioning. His clinical approach is collaborative and compassionate, ensuring that patients feel heard, respected, and actively involved in their treatment decisions. Dr Rahman focuses on developing clear, sustainable treatment plans that support long-term wellbeing. Dr Rahman is dedicated to providing thoughtful, person-centred psychiatric care and working alongside individuals to help them move towards greater stability, clarity, and resilience.
