CMC Wellbeing

Jacob De Jersey

Having grown up in Guernsey, I have developed a strong passion for sport, health, and maintaining an active lifestyle. I qualified as a Physiotherapist, having completed my Physiotherapy degree at the University of Winchester in the summer of 2026. Alongside my university I gained my qualification as Sports Massage Therapist.

Having this combination of skills has enabled me to combine exercise therapy alongside a hands-on approach where appropriate. Previously, I have experience supporting patients through their rehab journey in my past role as a Physiotherapy assistant which gave me essential skills before taking on my qualified role.

As a keen hockey player who enjoys an active lifestyle and spending time outdoors, I have a personal understanding of the physical demands that sport and everyday life can place on the body. This has fuelled my passion for helping others move well, recover from injury, manage pain, and return to the activities that are important to them.

I am committed to delivering evidence-based, patient-centred care and building positive relationships with each individual I work with. I enjoy working with people of all ages and activity levels, tailoring my approach to their individual needs and goals, whether that involves rehabilitation following injury, managing a long-term condition, improving physical function, or supporting a return to sport and an active lifestyle.
